Beautiful location and very private. Good communication with owner and felt welcomed. Spa is great and the game room is fun. Perfect location to explore the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I came for Presidents Day Weekend and loved our stay in this home. We had enough room for it to it to feel private, and the blend of a vintage home with modern amenities like new appliances was very nice. Everything was there to get us started in a remote location.

The perfect pet-friendly place for a long weekend with friends Positive: Finding the place was easy using GPS, and the cabin is absolutely beautiful, well maintained and perfectly appointed with everything you need. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes/pots/pans, and the views from every window are lovely. The surrounding countryside is quiet and perfect to take the dogs walking in; they never wanted to come inside! 10/10 would come again and highly recommended to others. A perfect place for a long weekend getaway with a few friends. Negative: Some of the surrounding neighbors had large RV trailers that made the view from the front of the property a bit less pleasant, but there’s nothing to be done about that. There were no check-out instructions posted anywhere so I messaged the hosts, they were very responsive and said not to worry about anything so I might just write that somewhere for guests to know. And we needed to check our dogs for foxtails and ticks frequently, but that’s to be expected since they were spending every moment outside!

This set up worked well for our family with grandchildren. The outdoor game area in the garage was also fun. And we had Positive: Altho close to the little town, you feel like you’re out in the country. It’s peaceful and pretty. The owners have thought of just about everything a renter could want or need, (except a broom and dust pan ). There are mowed paths to walk on, a relaxing deck and outdoor dining area.

Relaxing impressive atmosphere & location. Would have preferred unscented amenitie. Positive: This location is private, beautiful and centrally located to Julian and Santa Ysabel. Beautiful venue and the home has a well equity kitchen and very nice deck with BBQ and is family gathering friendly with games and is very spacious. Negative: The fragrances of the plug-ins were unnecessary and for such a natural environment were out of touch and too much. Bring spring water and perhaps mattress pads to soften the mattresses. I brought unscented laundry detergent and my own sheets and blankets. Although the home was well stocked with soft sheets and bedding and supplies that were too scented for our preference.
